As you know, we’ll be celebrating Buy Nothing Day this Friday by closing our doors. But it isn’t Clean Nothing Day, so we’ll be doing our Fall cleaning all day Friday. You may not be able to purchase anything but you sure can help us out by joining us for a few hours between 7AM and 7PM and helping with some much-needed cleaning.

Being volunteer staffed is vital to our co-op’s existence. Big ups to all of our volunteers who keep this place going day-to-day. Those of you who give a few hours each week probably know how much we need this Fall cleaning better than most. To those of you who aren’t able to make the time to commit to a regular shift, now’s your chance to deepen your ownership of our little co-op and earn that volunteer discount!

For those of you who can give a few hours on Friday, we know it’ll be a little more intense than a standard store or cafe shift. To show our gratitude, we’re offering the full working member discount of 15% for the month of December. That’s right, come in for three hours on Friday and save some big bucks around the holidays.

We’ve got a signup sheet at the checkout counter for the next couple days. You can also e-mail us to sign up for a shift, or give us a call at 264-7933 and ask to have your name added to the sign up sheet. We need folks all day, any time is appreciated and your help will go a long way. You own this place; join us in making it better!
