We are again accepting applications for the position of the Café Kitchen Manager.

JOB DUTIES:
Hiring/Firing (performance appraisals)
Ensuring the sanitation habits of employees
Training of staff/volunteers
Attendance at Weekly Workers Collective meetings
Attendance at Board of Directors meetings
Attendance at Communications meetings (as needed).
Handling customer service issues
Portion control
Cost control
Marketing/advertising
Scheduling Kitchen cleaning
Maintenance of equipment
Preparation oversight and related issues
Deli case/ Bakery case presentation -proper signage and cleanliness
Organization of the kitchen Catering Budget/ Menu Liaison to the Communications Committee
Preparing Cafe Specials

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS *3-5 years working experience in a high-intensity kitchen atmosphere
*Participation in the Riverwest Cooperative Worker’s Collective
*Ability to work 40 Hours/week
*Management experience preferred
*Understanding of the Co-management structure preferred.
