Ads/Outreach

Ideas for July Currents ad discussed included sales and specials, reminders of the store discount days, organic food in the café.

Discussed ways to get customers into the café. It was decided to distribute the half-sheet flyer on the Co-op to local businesses and UWM dorms. According to Gibson, Shalom Healing is willing to let us paint a mural on the side of their building.

Events

Energy Independence Day—Committee decided to serve hummus wraps and leftover veggie dogs and veggie brats from Locust Street Day. Erin will get food permit from city hall. Volunteer sign-up sheet placed at register.

Website

Several small issues regarding the website have been emailed to Kevin. Board would like to get a way to sent emails from the website instead of the Yahoo Groups website, and a way for members to update their information from the website. Kevin has not responded, perhaps because he is waiting for the rest of his payment.

Interdependent

As of this meeting, the June issue of the Interdependent has not been published and Lisa is still waiting for a few articles. Committee decided that what we have should be sent to the editors to get published ASAP. Need to start thinking about next issue.
