Donation Requests
Donation budget - The committee has developed an in-kind donation form to make it easier to keep track of in-kind donations on our budget.
Our Lady of Divine Providence Auction (May 1) – agreed to donate usual gift basket (t-shirt, mug, bag, bumpersticker, and gift certificate with café menu).
MDA Auction May 13 – committee passed.
Equality Wisconsin Auction (May 21) – agreed to donate usual gift basket
Parachute Project – Paula talked to organizers and told them we would be willing to provide some sort of food or catering donation if appropriate. Waiting to hear back.
 
Publicity
May Currents Ad – Glenda reported that it will be banana-themed to coincide with Fair Trade Crawl on May 14.
Events
Annual Meeting – Still need volunteers to sign up.
Fair Trade Crawl – Equal Exchange bananas and café banana bread will be featured. Paula is contacting someone with Peace Action who has visited fair trade banana plantations to get background info.
 
10th Anniversary
Mugs- Committee decided to go with 14 oz ceramic mugs. Erin will develop contest entry form to be announced at Annual Meeting
Cookbook – Erin will contact Amanda about getting more involvement from the café.
 
Event Coordinator Position
Committee discussed a re-draft of the Event Coordinator contract that will be offered to Carolyn. The committee would like the position to pay 25% of an event’s gross profits (not net) or $100, whichever is greater. Contract will be presented to the Board, and Erin will discuss with Carolyn.
