Saint Patrick’s Day Fundraiser Party

Mark your calendars for the Riverwest Co-op’s Saint Patrick’s Day Fundraiser Party!

Music-Booze-Food-Fun…one night only!

Saturday, March 15, 2008
7:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m.
at Linneman’s Riverwest Inn
1001 E. Locust Street
(corner of Locust & Weil)
Milwaukee, WI

We will be selling chips with fresh organic salsa made in our cafe and hot and fresh organic popcorn with garlic butter, salt, nutritional yeast, and other yummy toppings to choose from.

In addition to yummy co-op food, the following bands will be performing:

the .357 String Band
Dr. Chow’s Love Medicine
Highlonesome

David Towle (old timey banjo)
This will be a benefit show for the Riverwest Co-op, with a suggested donation of $8.00 at the door.

The Scrapyard Sideshow
(the group formerly known as Bananaramma)
will perform between each band.

We will also be taking donations for Rick’s ‘finger fund’. The bass player for The .357 String Band chopped off the tip of his finger while working and he is uninsured. We thank the band for still playing our fund raising show even with their personal setback.

Your chance to truly own and influence your co-op.

Closed Thursday Jan 17th at 1pm

Riverwest Co-Op will close tomorrow, Thursday,
January 17, 2008, at 1 p.m. We will re-open Friday
morning at our usual time.

We are closing for one of our annual cleaning
and maintenance days. This is obviously a very
important task that must occur at the co-op a couple
of times per year. This can be a good time, and the
more the merrier.

Please come and help us maintain our co-op anytime
between 1 p.m. and 9 p.m.

If you volunteer with us for three or more hours
tomorrow, you will receive a 10% discount for one
full month. For members, this is on top of your 5%,
which will give you a total 15% discount for the next
month.
OR
A free meal in the cafe next time you come in to eat.

Thanks much!
Hope to see you tomorrow.
