Local raw food maven Caroline Carter of Eden's Market will be at the Co-op on Sunday, December 5 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. She'll be making dips to go along with her flaxseed crackers, and signing copies of the cookbook she wrote with her daughter, Shenita Ray, "A Mother & Daughter Diary of Raw Food Recipes for Beginners."

Stop by the Co-op this to get your signed copy of member Kelly Peloza's new cookbook, The Vegan Cookie Connoisseur! This Sunday, Dec. 12, from 11 am - 2 pm. It's Christmas cookie season, after all. The Riverwest Co-op is teaming up with Volunteer Center of Greater Milwaukee to make this Christmas as bright as it can be. 

We’re collecting donations to buy presents for 15 kids from the Silver Spring Neighborhood Center. Any amount is welcome, but for $15 or more, you can “buy” a tag and we’ll add your name to one of the gifts. Or you can take a tag and go shopping yourself.

If you can’t donate but still want to help, we need elves to go shopping, wrap gifts, and deliver them, too! The gifts are due by Dec. 14, so please, jump in and volunteer!
