Call for bakers and volunteers!

We're putting out a call for baked goods for the Halloween fundraiser event on October 30 at Falcon Bowl from 1 to 4. Show off your cupcakes! Volunteer to bake for us....we will provide you flour and ingredients. Just need some really good bakers, for the kids! Pumpkin cupcakes, anyone?

If you're not sure about your baking skills, we still need plenty of volunteers to help out at the fundraiser itself. check out the sign-up sheet at the register for more details. Thanks!

Gobble Gobble Gobble!

10/26/10
Time to order your Thanksgiving turkeys at the co-op.  We've reserved 18 natural, free range turkeys from Yuppie Hill Farm in Burlington. They range from 12-15 pounds each, costing $45.48 to $56.86. To reserve your turkey, fill out a form at the front register and put down your $10 deposit as soon as possible. We expect the turkeys to be delivered around November 18.

Online write-up on the Co-op

09/27/10
Check it out! Co-op member and volunteer Theresa Kenny has written about all the great local products on our shelves over on Examiner.com. Then come on over to the co-op and get some Black Bear soda. Or Mamasita’s Tamales. Or some of Caroline's Crackers. Or honey from the Wisconsin Honey Cooperative...you get the idea.
