Worker’s Collective Notes

Present: Nick, Shelly, Doug, Amanda, Wendy, Mary, Gibson, Justin

 

-Co-op is catering for Woodland Pattern on Tuesday January 26^th

 

-The café is looking to hire a fulltime employee; applications are due on February 8^th

 

- Budgets are due February 1^st

 

- Mother and daughter who frequent the co-op have been caught stealing and are on probation

 

- Our Milwaukee is having a fund-raiser for Haiti at the Lakefront Brewery and they need food donated, Co-op will make wraps and desserts to be dropped off Sunday January 31^st by 12pm

 

- Bake sale Saturday January 25^th to raise money for Haiti

 

- Co-op needs to enroll in the WMSE chili cook-off. We’re having a pre-chili-cook-off-cook-off on the 21^st of February from 5-9pm at club Timbuktu and THIS NEEDS ADVERTISING!

 

- Gibson, Justin, and Doug will be looking at shelving for the basement. The next basement cleaning day is scheduled for February 7^th

 

- W2 forms are located in the check book. If somebody picks theirs up, make a note of it.

 

- A maintenance schedule needs to be created for items such as: café freezer, ice machine, hoods, compressors, air conditioner, etc.

 

- Volunteer of the weeks: River and Sarah Ditzenburger

 

- The spaghetti dinner was a success. Gibson is writing up a report. Co-op made $951.55. Next year we should work on desserts, bread, and veggie sauce. Time to get our vendors to start donating to our fundraisers.

 

- Conducting probationary reviews for Amanda D. and Wendy M. Worker’s collective will take part in Amanda’s.

 

- Check book: -2477.79 Total: 34,292.81

 

- Sales averages: Total: 1,986.70 Café: 565.35 Store:1,404.20

 

- Produce freezes when it sits next to the back wall of the produce cooler, this needs to be checked hourly.

 

- If you have a problem with the printer, take care of it, don’t leave it for the next person.

 

- The website needs to be worked on in the immediate future. Lisa is taking care of it.
