WC Minutes 10/13/10

Present: Paula, Justin, Michelle, Gibson

-Last Week’s Daily Sales Averages: Total: $2368.80, Store: 1616.99, Cafe: 707.53
-Bank Account Totals: Checking: $17,276.96, Overall: 56,489.83
-Paula took a look at some shelving, it’s the kind we want but was a
bit too “used.”
-Agenda items for Board meeting include: tables & chairs, spice rack,
coolers, personnel,
-Halloween Event: More help is needed. We need to get more
information for where volunteers are needed and what’s expected of
paid staff- Gibson will follow up.
-Gibson needs to organize the volunteer meeting.
-Volunteer of the Week: Alex in the cafe
-3PM Drawer: we need a new schedule. There was a note in the drawer
about it being off. Paula (and maybe Shelly) will follow up. Justin
can’t do the 3PM drawer on Mondays and Fridays anymore, Gibson will
talk to Tom S. about helping us be on top of those days. With a co-op
credit card being ordered, we’ll go over all of our money-handling
procedures and develop protocols.
-Michelle’s going away from Thanksgiving until December 22nd. She’ll
make sure duties and shifts are covered.
-We’ve got plans in place for Dia del Muerte displays and specials,
Thanksgiving pies, holiday candies and a winter drink special that
incorporates candy canes.
-Milwaukee Magazine is coming to the co-op tomorrow to take pictures
of some breakfast items to be featured in next month’s issue.
