WC Minutes 12/10/10

 

Present: Shelly, Paula, Justin, Gibson

 

-Gift certificates will be mailed today to woman who called and put $150 on her credit card.

-To clarify committee budgets, we should get in the habit of submitting forms or invoices for donations.  For events, we need to get reports quicker/at all.  Coordinator for Center Street still hasn’t been paid.

-Shelly’s been putting in too much time in the store and needs to put in more office hours.  Paula will come in on Tuesday and Gibson on Wednesday to relieve her in the store.  Some discussion of everyone’s workload and how to balance.  Gibson has been short on hours and should be here more to help with daily tasks.  Discussion of vacation hours being tracked, maybe report usage/accumulation to HR?

-WC meetings will be on Thursdays at noon for a while.

-Recycled gift fair will be at Falcon Bowl next weekend.  We’ll have some sample truffles.  Paula will help with setup.

-Agenda items/reports for board: holiday displays, HR stuff above, co-manager for cafe, expansion conversations, budgets.

-Discussion of how best to manage cafe.  Bounced ideas around and came up with some plans- including streamlining/reigning in deli case “creativity,” work place expectations/environment and support in prioritizing tasks when managers aren’t here.

-Next meeting agenda should include tables and holiday schedules.
