WC Minutes 6/14/10

-Last Week’s Daily Sales Averages: Total: $2542.44, Store: 1719.32, Cafe: 774.55

-Bank Account Totals: Checking: 177.95, Overall: 38158.14

-Locust Street: Stuff was brought back.  What needs to be done with stuff that was refrozen?  Mary will find out.  We’ll have a ½ price sale on cookies and banana bread that was brought back.  We need to remember the amount of cookies/bread for next year.  Overall, the event was well done, despite some trouble getting stuff going in the morning.

-Paula started today.  She did a good job this morning.  We’ll be training Paula throughout the next few weeks- a training plan and schedule will be worked out.

-Volunteer of the Week needs to be posted.  Hasn’t been posted in a few weeks- Gibson will do it, late.

-Repack needs to be worked on.  Paula will take this on as a part of her new job.

-The co-op will be closed at 2PM on Sunday, July 4^th.  Employees, volunteers and customers need to be notified.

-The Gordon Park celebration of July 4^th will be on Monday, July 5^th.  The co-op is going to serve food there, Lisa is making sure we can still get the permits.

-Power Down week is next week (July 21^st through 27^th).  The co-op will keep lights off in the store and dining room during daylight and will have a 10% discount on some local items during the week.

-The scale is still sitting in the office.  Things have been costed out and entered, but more needs to be done.  Gibson will try to find volunteer help with the data entry portion.  The scale will be in use in the kitchen by July 1^st at the latest.
