In attendance: Justin Ross, Gibson Caldwell, Dawn Behr, Paula Gelbke, Shelly
McClone, and Sandra Heinz
Topics of discussion: Dawns' trip, Shellys' trip, Justins' final days, Cafe
Co-Manager update, Cafe Staff update, Memorial Day, Locust St. Days, Trial
baking shifts, Volunteer meeting, Farewell Party for Justin and Michelle,
Security, Bank deposits.
The Numbers:
Total: $2648.28
Cafe: $840.08
Store: $1761.06
*** MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND***
Checking Account: $8,868.33
$43,159.65 Total
Memorial Day: Cafe was slow. Steady new-comers 8-12, then we faded out. Store
was busier than cafe but, still very slow weekend overall.
Dawn Behr will be taking a 5 day trip in August from 13-20. Will have shifts
covered and inventory and anything else up to date.
Shelly McClone will be taking a trip June 24-27. Will need Monday the 27 taken
care of.
Justin Ross will be leaving us. His last day will be Friday the 3rd. Thank you
Justin for all you have accomplished in the cafe. Good Luck on your travels!!
Locust St. Days is coming up. Sunday the 12. This will be organized by
Carolyn. Hot dog and Brats, beverages and with help from the cafe, baked goods
will be served. Thank you Carolyn and Volunteers.
Bank Deposit duties will be done by Dawn and Paula. We will be trained and
updated accordingly.
Volunteer Meeting will be led by Gibson on June 19, 2011. Look for signs and
info. on the up-coming event.
Building security was a discussed. With the summer months upon us we need to be
more aware of potential dangers in the area. Possible update on our systems.
This issue will be looked into and brought up with the board for further
discussion.
We are planning a PARTAY AND BBQ for Justin and Michelle. We are having a
farewell for them at the Public House on June 19 mid afternoon. We are planning
a BBQ/Potluck for them. Please feel free to bring a dish, baked item or BBQ.
We are looking into different party options. We are also waiting on an okay from
Michelle to see if this time and day are good for are as well as Justin.
Sandra Heinz will be preparing a special gift from us to Justin and Michelle.
