Volunteers are the Heart of the Co-op

From in-store volunteers to board and committee members, volunteers are the heart of the co-op. From Cashiering to Stocking to Re-packing bulk, From Dishwashing to Painting our Window, Our Board and Committee members - They have built the co-op. Also volunteering is the best way to meet your neighbors and connect to community.

Active volunteers at the Co-op complete a minimum of twelve (12) hours of volunteer work each month in store or on committees, receiving a 10% volunteer discount on groceries as a thank you. While we are currently making exceptions down to 8 hours a month- historically 12 is the sweet spot that has helped create the most consistent Co-op experience for volunteers, customers and staff.
